It’s not impossible, it just seems like it.
Coming from poor credit requires action on two fronts. First it is critical that you use credit. Over 50% of your credit score comes from positive credit use and recent credit history. Can’t get a credit card right now? We understand. Try downloading our “6 Best Credit Cards For Bad Credit”. The form is below
Second, it is best to remove the negative credit that is lowering your credit score. Some negative credit may in fact, not be impacting your credit score. Usually, after two years the impact of negative credit is far outweighed by the “new positive” credit you are building.
And don’t let anyone tell you that negative credit can’t be removed from your credit report. We assist our clients in doing this every day and can show you how.
Finally, understand that both removing bad credit and rebuilding positive credit takes time. Just a letter to a credit bureau and their response typically takes 30 to 45 days. And building a new positive credit history is done one month at a time.
